Training is to teach on a particular subject in details. With regard to software, training provides instruction for each command and function in an application. Training includes both theoretical and practical knowledge so that it becomes easy for a person to understand. On-the-job training takes place in normal working situation using the actual tools, equipment, documents or materials that trainees will use when fully trained while Off-page-job training takes place away from normal working situations.
These are basically instructions to improve the recipient's performance or to help him or her attain a required level of knowledge or skill.
